Collectively known as PaperTrail Press, Beth Cope, Jeanne Benas and Joanne Spotswood fancy themselves creative geniuses. Joanne, who founded the company in 1997 writes the copy and generally runs the show. She saw a need for edgy, funny, women-to-women greetings and created the company to fill that niche. Their partnership with Recycled Paper Greetings has enabled them to focus solely on their creative pursuits. In addition to cards they are happy to reveal that their work appears on t-shirts, needlepoint canvases and bathroom walls. To see more of their work, visit the PaperTrail Press website here.
Like Picasso, Beth is very fond of the color blue. Unlike Picasso, no one is willing to accept a doodle on a cocktail napkin as payment for a meal.
Jeanne began her professional art career at the age of three when her mother Kay (also an artist) dragged her on to live television for a segment on drawing.
